Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Ghost Network services, including the website at ghostnetwork.no, associated subdomains, and the Minecraft server at mc.ghostnetwork.no ("Services"). By using these Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Ghost Network. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm you have parental permission to use our Services.

2. Account Registration

You may create one account per person. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. Sharing accounts is prohibited.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Use automated tools to access or scrape our services without permission
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our infrastructure
• Use hacked clients, cheats, or exploits on our game servers
• Engage in fraud, including chargebacks on voluntary donations

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (wiki pages, documents, posts). By submitting content, you grant Ghost Network a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within our Services. You represent that you have the right to grant this license.

Ghost Network reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our rules, without notice.

5. Donations and Payments

Donations to Ghost Network are voluntary contributions to support server operations. They are non-refundable. Rank perks and cosmetics provided as donation incentives are provided "as-is" and may be changed or removed at our discretion. We do not guarantee permanent access to donor perks.

Chargebacks on voluntary donations will result in an immediate account ban.

6. Bans and Termination

Ghost Network reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these Terms or our rules, at our discretion. Permanent bans issued for severe violations (hacking, doxxing, real-world threats) are not subject to appeal.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Account deletion does not override existing bans.

7. Intellectual Property

The Ghost Network name, logo, website design, and non-player-generated content are owned by Ghost Network. Minecraft is owned by Mojang Studios. Ghost Network is not affiliated with or endorsed by Mojang Studios or Microsoft.

8. Disclaimers

Services are provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or continuity of service. We are not responsible for lost in-game progress, items, currency, or character data resulting from server issues, resets, or technical failures.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Norwegian law, Ghost Network and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Disputes shall be resolved in Norwegian courts. If you are an EU/EEA consumer, you may also invoke the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced with at least 14 days' notice via email or website notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
